Paying it forward

Oct. 11, 2013

Trucker Buddy International and PeopleNet have announced they will jointly award scholarships to the children and dependents of teachers and truck drivers alike “to encourage more students to consider a career in education or transportation.”

Three children or dependents of teachers and three of drivers will each be granted a $1,000 scholarship to attend secondary schools, such as a college, junior college, or technical training facility, including vocational and truck-driving schools.

The scholarship program is open only to children and dependents of teachers and drivers who are currently active and registered with TruckerBuddy. Rules and guidelines can be found on the Trucker Buddy website: https://www.truckerbuddy.org/scholarship.html.
