Owens began his career with Fontaine Trailer at the Kent, OH, facility as operations manager in 2003 and became general manager of that facility a year later. He served as general manager of the Xtremebeam and fabrication businesses in 2007 and additionally became general manager of the heavy-haul facility in Springville, AL.
In 2011 he was promoted to vice president and general manager of Fontaine Trailer Commercial Platform, where he has led the operations in growth and excellence to exceed year over year plans.
