Vanguard Truck Centers names executive vp

John M. Thomas has been named executive vice president of sales for Vanguard Truck Centers. He will have authority over all new truck inventory, developing inventory models that will allow Vanguard to maximize synergies of its national geographic footprint, the company said.

Thomas has worked with both Mack and Volvo during a 38-year career, holding numerous positions including vice president -Southwest-Western regions for Mack Trucks and Volvo Trucks; senior vice president - distribution development Mack Trucks/Volvo Trucks, and vice president - Western Region Mack Trucks.
