Transplace has acquired Logistics Management Solutions (LMS), a non-asset-based third party logistics (3PL) provider.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
LMS, which was established in 1996, offers advanced technology and services that help shippers improve safety, service levels and financial performance.

Schoemehl will remain an advisor to Sanderson, and LMS President & COO Greg Umstead will continue to operate the business as a key member of the Transplace leadership team.
