Steve Chapman retiring from Ruan Transportation; Ben McLean promoted to CEO

Steve Chapman, CEO of Ruan Transportation Management Systems for the past five years, is retiring, announced John Ruan III, executive chairman. Ben McLean, currently president and COO and part of the third-generation of the Ruan family, is being promoted to CEO. Chapman will remain a member of the board of directors. Chapman stepped in as CEO for Ruan while John Ruan III was beginning his term as chairman of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s board of directors.
