Bridgestone Americas names marketing head for Commercial Tire Division

Marshall Hyzdu has been named to lead the marketing division of Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations’ (BATO) Commercial Tire Division as vice president. Hyzdu will lead marketing initiatives for OTR and commercial truck and bus tire products, including Bridgestone, Firestone, Bandag and Dayton brands.

Hyzdu (at right) will lead marketing initiatives for OTR and commercial truck and bus tire products, including Bridgestone, Firestone, Bandag and Dayton brands.

“We are fortunate to add Marshall’s many talents and rich experience to our team at BATO,” said Philip Dobbs, CMO for Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations.

“Under his leadership, we are confident that the commercial division will continue to grow, meeting and anticipating customer needs and moving Bridgestone forward as an industry leader,” he added

Hyzdu has an extensive background in marketing for global brands, including Valvoline and Kraft Foods, the company said. Hyzdu led global product strategy for Valvoline.

At Kraft for more than six years, Hyzdu led brand management for several of the company’s brands, including Kraft Singles, Breakstone’s, Knudsen, Polly-O, Athenos and more. Additionally, Hyzdu was an analyst at UBS Investment Bank and a brand manager at Vector Marketing Corp.
