Growth leads to staff additions at CarrierWeb

Mobile communications provider CarrierWeb saw growth of 40% in 2014, and as a result, the company has made several new staff additions and promotions.

Tommy Clark has joined the company as senior director of sales-Southeast. Clark has spent the previous 17 years providing fleet management solutions to transportation and logistics companies and also has experience at Pan American World Airways.

Also, Deanna Newcomb has come on board as director of field client services. With over 20 years of experience in mobile communications, Newcomb will lead the field client services team during customer installation and after-sales service.

CarrierWeb also created a new department, Product Management and Professional Services, to better serve the ever-changing needs of its customers and lead the evolution of mobile communications and trailer tracking technology in the transportation industry.

The company also announced several promotions, including:

  • George Dunn to senior vice president - sales
  • William J. Newlands to senior vp and CFO
  • Trena J. Wade to vice president, inside sales and sales support
  • Keith O’Brien to vp product management and professional services.
