AmeriSafe appoints new sales and marketing svp
AmeriSafe, Inc., a specialty provider of high hazard workers' compensation insurance, recently appointed David Morton as its senior vice president of sales and marketing.
Morton, an Atlanta, Ga., native, comes to AmeriSafe from Employers’ Services, Inc., where he was vice president of sales excellence. At AmeriSafe, Morton will be responsible for paving the strategy and implementation of future sales and growth within the organization.
“We’re very excited about David and the talent he brings to our team,” CEO Janelle Frost said. “Acquiring him as a key member of our leadership team will help AmeriSafe continue to grow and prosper in our very competitive industry.”
Morton, a graduate of Stephen F. Austin University in Texas, has a background in sales and marketing in the insurance industry and in payroll services. He will assume his official duties on April 13.
