Aaron Potter and Steve Boyle will take on new roles that will further strengthen the finance organization at Bergstrom Inc., the company announced.

Potter has been promoted to vice president, Financial Planning and Analysis.

In this role, Potter will be responsible for creating and driving the planning and analysis processes that will allow Bergstrom to look forward more effectively and better prepare for the future needs of the company, the company said.

Potter joined Bergstrom in 2005 and, in 2013, completed a four-year assignment overseas as the Director of Finance for Bergstrom Europe in Ystrad Mynach, Wales, UK, according to the company. Potter is an adjunct professor of finance for the MBA program at Rockford University and prior to joining Bergstrom, held positions as a financial controller for Atwood Mobile Products, an internal auditor for CLARCOR and a cost accountant for E.D. Entyre, the company said.

“Aaron has more than 15 years of demonstrated experience in fiscal planning, financial management and acquisition due diligence,” said Jack Shaffer, president and CEO. “He is a significant part of our growing culture of financial excellence and he will further advance globally integrated planning and analysis as a cornerstone of Bergstrom’s financial accountability and responsibility.”

In addition, the company said Boyle will take on the new role of vice President and treasurer. Boyle will be focused primarily on cash management, banking relationships and insurance.

Boyle has more than 30 years of experience in financial management and planning. He joined Bergstrom in 2004 as the chief financial officer and was responsible for all financial and IT responsibilities. Prior to Bergstrom, Boyle worked for Atwood Mobile Products, GC-Thorsen, Household Manufacturing and Schwitzer, among others.

“Steve is an exceptional leader whose financial market experience, strategic thinking skills and knowledge of the company make him a valuable asset of the Bergstrom team,” Shaffer said.
