Fontaine Heavy-Haul names vp of operations

J. Cliff Denson has been named vice president of operations for Fontaine Heavy-Haul and John Smith has been hired as project engineer.

Fontaine Heavy-Haul has made two recent personnel appointments.  J. Cliff Denson has been named vice president of operations for Fontaine Heavy-Haul and John Smith has been hired as project engineer, both located in Springville, AL.

Denson will be responsible for all aspects of the manufacturing, purchasing and engineering departments and will report directly to John Krier, president of Fontaine Heavy-Haul.

Prior to joining Fontaine as vice president of research and development in 2013, he began his transportation career at General Motors where he developed software and calibrations for powertrain management systems. He also worked for Brunswick Boat Group, most recently serving as director of engineering for Sea Ray, Bayliner, Meridian and Trophy brand boats.
