USA Truck names vp of Mexico operations

Gary Nichols has been named vice president of Mexico operations for USA Truck.
Gary Nichols has been named vice president of Mexico operations for USA Truck. Nichols, who has 35 years of experience including more than 20 working with Mexico and NAFTA supply chain issues, will oversee all operations and sales processes related to the carrier’s Mexico-U.S. truckload business.“Our growth plan includes expanding our footprint in Mexico and Gary will facilitate that expansion,” said Tom Glaser, president & CEO of USA Truck. “He brings a wealth of international transportation knowledge and experience to USA Truck. We look forward to Gary leading our efforts as we build on our already solid foundation south of the border.”Nichols most recently was director of international sales for U.S. Xpress. He also spent time as director of business development for Con-way.
