The fleet profession can be daunting for those who are new to the industry. With an all-new focus on the 11 Essential Elements of fleet and a highly experienced forum of experts, NAFA said its Essentials of Fleet Management Seminar (EFMS) brings together a “comprehensive perspective/picture of what a fleet manager does, and provides the education to do it even better.”
The EFMS event Feb. 23-25, 2016, in Dallas-Fort Worth, TX, is a live-in-person seminar for new fleet professionals with less than 5 years of experience. It examines the fundamental principles and practices of successful fleet management as the curriculum addresses the 11 essentials:
- Right-sizing
- Selection Process
- Defined Lifecycles
- Knowing the Costs
- Policy Framework
- Safety Tracking
- Measures of Maintenance Productivity
- Key Performance Indicators
- A Proactive Remarketing Program
- Professional Training
- The Sustainable Fleet Standard
The EFMS will also feature for the first time an expert forum comprised of a team of fleet managers with more than 150 years of fleet management experience among them. They will discuss topics, answer questions, and share fleet management insights with attendees.
Registration for the seminar is $770 for NAFA Members or $870 Non-Members, with an additional $75 off these prices if individuals register during the early-bird price period! Included with the registration fee is a special welcome reception where attendees can mingle with colleagues and discuss fleet topics in a relaxed setting. Early-bird savings end February 5.
Attendees can register and find out more on NAFA's Educational Events page.
