• PTI names Thomas Moser president

    Phillips & Temro Industries (PTI) named Thomas M. Moser as president, effective immediately. Moser succeeds Harry R. “Butch” Sumpter.

    Phillips & Temro Industries (PTI) named Thomas M. Moser as president, effective immediately. Moser succeeds Harry R. “Butch” Sumpter, who has been with PTI since 2006.

    The appointment follows a planned transition and the completion of a formal search process conducted by a leading executive search firm, according to the company.

     “We are thrilled to welcome an executive of Tom’s caliber to PTI,” said Jeff Fox, chairman and CEO of Harbour Group, PTI’s owner. ”He brings a unique background in engineered products, a proven track record of success in senior leadership positions in global markets, and significant experience in acquisitions. These qualifications make him the ideal candidate to lead PTI into its next stage of growth."

    Moser joins PTI with over 25 years of experience with Emerson Process Management, the global leader in measurement and analytical instrumentation for the process industries. Most recently, Moser was group vice president of its Rosemount Measurement and Analytical business.  Previously, he served in various senior leadership roles as well as general management roles in Europe and Asia. Over the course of his successful career, his functional responsibilities have included design engineering, sales and marketing, global operations and business development.  Earlier in his career Moser served in various technical positions at IBM and Boise Cascade.
