Not exactly, although John Schank has had his fair share of cold-weather experiences, having earned the Alaska Trucking Assn. 2014 Driver of the Year award in part for accruing 5 million accident-free miles across Alaska’s notorious Dalton Highway. Schank has another claim to fame, though. The Lynden Transport driver piloted the 2015 Capitol Christmas Tree from the Port of Tacoma all the way to Washington, D.C., last year behind the wheel of a custom-designed Kenworth T680 tractor. Wonder if Santa could have handled the D.C. traffic?
