Shoes are made for learning

March 7, 2016

Meritor is known for its generosity. So it is no surprise that the company will donate up to $70,000 from remanufactured brake shoe sales to a foundation that helps severely wounded, injured or ill veterans. The Wyakin Warrior Foundation will receive $50,000 from sales in addition to a $20,000 match from the Meritor Trust Fund for its Shoes for Soldiers efforts, the company says. The Boise, ID-based foundation helps veterans transition to business, community and government leadership roles.
