Fleet management software provider Chevin Fleet Solutions has been selected to provide its enterprise fleet management information system, FleetWave, to Centuri Construction Group.
Centuri Construction operates a fleet of more than 12,000 pieces of equipment across the United States and Canada. With FleetWave in place, Centuri Construction said it will gain organization-wide visibility over complete equipment, maintenance, operational and financial details. The solution will help it provide total lifecycle control over its fleet from acquisition through to disposal, the company said.
According to Chevin, FleetWave has the ability to manage complex equipment attributes from upfit details and specialty equipment specifications to crane inspections; the software will replace Centuri Construction’s reliance on non-integrated databases and financial systems, to provide a single integrated enterprise-wide equipment management solution.
To further streamline administrative work load and simplify the processing of countless financial and operational transactions, FleetWave will be integrated with lessor, driver qualification, fuel procurement, telematics and internal finance systems.
Ron Katz, Senior VP of Chevin Fleet Solutions said: “We’re delighted to be working with an organization that has such an impressive legacy and solid reputation for delivering outstanding service in support of the infrastructure and utility distribution industry.
“The entire team at Chevin is confident that with FleetWave in place, Centuri Construction will be able to significantly reduce unnecessary costs and administrative workload, while providing a scalable system with the necessary flexibility to adapt to their evolving business needs in the future.”
