• Covenant names new vice president of Mexico

    Covenant Transport announced Carlos Casellas has joined its team as vice president of Mexico.

    Covenant Transport announced Carlos Casellas has joined its team as vice president of Mexico. According to the company, Casellas comes to Covenant from CFI/Con-way Truckload – more recently known as XPO Logistics – where he previously served in various roles in operations, sales, administration and logistics since 1990.

    “I am extremely honored to welcome Carlos to the Covenant Transport family,” says Sam Hough, chief operating officer. “Carlos brings an unprecedented wealth of knowledge regarding Mexico operations that will allow us to significantly grow our Mexico business. His experience will help bring instant credibility to our existing customers, as well as new business opportunities.”

    In his role, Casellas will be responsible for the implementation of Covenant Transport’s strategic road map within Mexico and all Mexican cross-border business.
