ACT Research announced Donavan Gerken has joined the firm in the position of director of marketing, sales and consulting.

Americas Commercial Transportation (ACT) Research announced that Donavan Gerken has joined the firm in the position of director of marketing, sales and consulting.

Ken Vieth, ACT senior partner and general manager, said: “ACT Turned 30 years old this year, so we’re excited for Donavan to bring his youth and energy with him to the team.”

After receiving his bachelor’s degree from Indiana University in 2006, Gerken began working for a commercial real estate development company in Indianapolis as a paralegal, ACT said. In 2009 he was promoted to director of marketing & business development based in Tulsa, OK, managing sales, events, advertising, and marketing programs, according to the firm.

"I’m looking forward to leveraging my skillset and background with ACT Research, the leader in commercial vehicle analytics," Gerken said. "I plan to bring some fresh strategies to help deliver more value to the current ACT client base, as well as broaden our market penetration.
