PeopleNet and J.B. Hunt Transport Services recently locked in a two-year extension of their current partnership, which covers the motor carrier’s fleet of over 13,000 trucks.
“We are looking forward to a continued relationship that will help us stay efficient and keep our drivers safe and compliant,” noted Tracy Black, J.B. Hunt’s senior vice president of information systems, in a statement.
A PeopleNet customer since 2012, J.B. Hunt said it accesses various products via its partnership:
- ConnectedFleet: a cloud-based fleet management solution that integrates enterprise capability and mobile technologies with analytics;
- PeopleNet’s eDriver Logs and an integrated weigh station bypass service from Drivewyze;
- In-cab navigation via CoPilot Truck from ALK Technologies, which, like PeopleNet, is owned by Trimble. CoPilot helps reduce out-of-route miles, decrease fuel costs and improve driver performance, PeopleNet noted.
