• Mason appointed chief of staff for TIA

    Jeff Mason has been appointed chief of staff for TIA.

    Jeff Mason has been appointed chief of staff for TIA. He will oversee and coordinate with staff on strategic growth plan initiatives and program management in support of the CEO and board of directors.

    “Jeff brings solid industry insight and management experience to TIA,” TIA president and CEO, Robert Voltmann said. “His industry background in strategic sales, marketing and media skills will be invaluable in helping us connect with new and existing members who understand the vital role TIA can play in growing their business.  Jeff’s talents will allow TIA to keep up with the dynamic and fast-growing 3PL industry,” Voltmann added.

    Mason joins TIA from his recent role as executive vice president at the American Trucking Assns. and publisher of Transport Topics. Prior to ATA, Mason was a partner with Randall Reilly, a Tuscaloosa, AL-based media and data company leading the Trucking Media Group division. He is the former president of the industry supplier group ACT I and a member of the Transportation Marketing and Sales Association.
