C.R. England revises training program, increases driver pay

C.R. England announced changes in its training programs and an associated pay increase of more than 12% for drivers in the company's Phase 2 training program.
C.R. England announced changes in its training programs and an associated pay increase of more than 12% for drivers in the company's Phase 2 training program.
Effective Jan. 4, drivers upgraded out of the company's Phase 1 training transition into the new Phase 2 program, the company said. Phase 2 replaces the recently discontinued CAT program.
"These changes in our training programs will further reinforce our commitment to our highly esteemed driver force," CEO Chad England said. "We are confident that these enhancements will positively affect drivers in training. In addition to the pay increase of 12.3% for drivers coming right out of Phase 1 training, the new Phase 2 program adds an emphasis on career growth and development for our professional drivers working at C.R. England."
