RoadOne IntermodaLogistics announced Adam Amorose has joined the company as vice president of safety.

In this position, Amorose is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of all RoadOne drivers, as well as the driver recruiting and retention programs, the company said. He is also responsible for all FMCSA and Department of Homeland Security requirements such as CSA (Compliance, Safety and Accountability) scores, safety audits, and C-TPAT (Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism) certifications.

The company noted that Amorose comes to RoadOne with over 15 years of experience in transportation and distribution safety management and has interacted with multiple Fortune 500 businesses. At RoadOne, Amorose will lead the company’s ELD program for all RoadOne trucks, which will be completed by the end of 2016. According to the company, Amorose will also continue to build on RoadOne’s work to achieve first-rate FMCSA CSA driver scores.
