Black Rock Truck acquisition extends services

July 23, 2015
The Black Rock Truck Group announced the acquisition of certain assets of a former truck dealership in Yonkers, N.Y. The new dealership, now called Westchester Freightliner, recently moved into a new 30,000-sq.-ft. facility giving the dealership significantly larger parts and service capabilities, and will offer extended hours of operation, according to Matt McConnell, CEO of Black Rock Truck Group."The customer base is extremely demanding and we're looking forward to showing them what we are capable of,” said Gerald Beauton, president. McConnell and staff are working to bring Westchester Freightliner dealership up to the same Elite Support certification status as Southern Connecticut Freightliner. Elite Support is an annual certification program from Daimler Trucks North America that includes standards for operational excellence."Being an Elite Support dealer is the best way to conduct business for our customers, our company and the DTNA dealer network," McConnell said. Westchester Freightliner offers new and used vehicle sales, full service repair capabilities and an extensive parts inventory, the company said.
