IMC Logistics is opening a marine drayage operation in Toronto in 2026. The company, which provides landside logistics services, said the new location will support cross-border freight movement between the U.S. and Canada.
The Toronto facility will be located near one of the busiest trade crossings between the two countries. IMC plans to use the site to support customers moving freight across North America and to provide domestic marine drayage services within Canada.
The company expects the Toronto location to be fully operational in the second quarter of 2026. The expansion represents IMC’s first international location and is part of its broader growth strategy.
"This expansion is part of an effort to better support Canadian shippers who are broadening their sourcing strategies to stay competitive," Joel Henry, CEO for IMC, stated. "The resulting rise in containerized volumes positions IMC to deepen its partnerships with current customers and capitalize on new growth opportunities."
