This year provide no exception as all sorts of highly stylized highway iron took center stage at the annual Mid America extravaganza – everything from antiques, such as the old school “Munchy Trucking” Mack out of Montpelier, Va. (at left), to all sorts of sleek low-rider configured tractors.

Now while a lot the dollars folks shell out to turn their rigs into such artistic displays may seem extreme, many say they see returns on such big-ticket investments – especially when it comes to winning and keeping business from shippers.

Suffice to say, though, whatever the reason truck owners decide upon for customizing their rigs, the results are invariably spectacular to the eye. You can see what I mean in the video below:
