AFS Logistics

AFS Logistics claims its AFSSmartTMS “sets the standard” for multi-mode quoting, execution, and tracking with its ability to return last-mile, parcel, less than truckload, truckload, spot quotes, and expedited carrier rates. While the standard tier offers carrier API integrations for shipping workflows, enterprise customers can take advantage of optional planning capabilities and ERP/eCommerce integrations to maximize operational savings.

AFSmartTMS is a component of the AFSmart technology suite, an integrated package of cloud-native tools that allow shippers to manage their logistics networks in one place. The suite is designed to help shippers and carriers make faster, more informed decisions, automate processes, and more effectively manage logistics operations across multiple transportation modes.

BeyondTrucks

BeyondTrucks is incorporating artificial intelligence (AI) into dispatching within its TMS platform to optimize routes and driver workflows for greater efficiency. Instead of asking dispatchers to export route stops from TMS and pasting them into a route optimizer, risking errors, routing happens natively within the system.

With this new feature, BeyondTrucks also allows dispatchers to make routing changes conversationally through a ChatGPT-style text box. Users can ask the AI to route around inclement weather or prioritize deliveries to one location over another. It also allows fleets to focus on specific drivers if, for example, they need to be home at a certain time or need to avoid certain areas.

Once these conversational inputs are added, the routing system recalculates and delivers a new, optimized solution that includes the parameters determined by the dispatcher.

DAT Freight & Analytics

DAT Freight & Analytics’ Keypoint TMS is a transportation management system (TMS) for brokers that consolidates DAT products into a single platform. You can create loads, post to multiple load boards, dispatch, send rate confirmations, invoice customers, and pay carriers from one entry point.

Features include a dispatch control dashboard for managing all loads, carrier lane history showing past performance and rates, and one-click access to DAT iQ RateView for current market pricing. Keypoint automatically imports carrier information from DAT CarrierWatch, verifies insurance and safety credentials, and prevents dispatch of unqualified carriers. The built-in accounting system keeps operations and financials synchronized, with QuickBooks integration available. Keypoint also integrates with PC Miler, RAM, MCN, and other industry partners.

Geotab

Geotab’s Advanced Routing & Optimization solution goes beyond finding the shortest route. It optimizes routes for profitability and customer satisfaction by factoring in labor, availability, skills, time windows, appointment value, and vehicle capacity. This ensures the right resources are assigned to the right job, at the correct location, and at the right cost.

The solution manages the entire delivery life cycle, from territory planning and appointment scheduling to routing, dispatch, navigation, and proof of delivery, enabling faster, more reliable service. Routes adapt in real time, while drivers receive turn-by-turn guidance in the Geotab Drive app. Managers leverage reporting and analytics to track performance, reduce delays, and continuously optimize operations.

According to Geotab, aligning resources with business priorities and customer needs helps fleets complete more jobs, operate more efficiently, and consistently deliver on-time service, improving customer satisfaction.

McLeod Software says it has introduced a comprehensive user experience for managing trucking dispatch and freight brokerage. Its end-to-end operational and accounting workflows, document management, and API and native EDI capabilities are powered by LoadMaster, PowerBroker, DocumentPower, and MPact, which deliver speed, flexibility, and real-time insight.

The redesigned LoadMaster platform offers anytime, anywhere access for dispatchers and planners with drag-and-drop tools and driver and equipment visibility. PowerBroker streamlines brokerage operations through automated call-ins, integrated workflows, and batch load planning for faster coordination. Back-office operations benefit from an invoicing system featuring centralized billing, cash visibility, and bulk processing tools. MPact.RespondAI communication prioritizes messages, auto-replies, and generates quotes, while MPact.IQ delivers role-based dashboards with financial insights. Enhanced driver communication tools enable chat-style messaging and document tracking to reduce delays.

PCS Software

Cortex AI from PCS Software is the embedded intelligence inside PCS TMS, designed to help fleets run faster, leaner, and more profitably. Built from 30 years of freight operations data, Cortex works where you already work—no bolt-ons, no extra tools. According to the manufacturer, it automates repetitive tasks, surfaces profit-driving decisions, and delivers real-time insights across your dispatch, load intake, and backhaul workflows. With Cortex AI, PCS TMS allows you to see not only what is happening but also how to identify margin and do it instantly.

Platform Science

Platform Science says its Integration Manager simplifies how fleets connect their transportation management systems (TMS), visibility tools, and partner platforms. Rather than relying on third-party vendors or complex in-house projects, the tool provides a library of ready-made connectors that streamline integrations and reduce setup time. Fleets can securely share data, link systems, and improve workflow efficiency without large IT commitments. The manufacturer says the platform’s built-in analytics and scalability help operations adapt as business needs grow, creating a more connected and responsive ecosystem for managing drivers, assets, and partners across the supply chain.

RTA Fleet

RTA’s Fleet Management Information System (FMIS), Fleet360, is built for fleets that handle their own maintenance and want tools that fit the way their shops work. The system helps teams stay ahead of problems by connecting work orders, parts, and preventive maintenance in one clear view. The Tire Inventory module tracks every tire from installation to retirement, helping fleets cut costs and prevent blowouts. Accident tracking tools record every detail of an incident, including vehicles, drivers, repairs, and costs so teams can see patterns and improve safety. Embedded business intelligence dashboards turn maintenance data into insight on shop performance, while RTA’s open API connects with telematics, fuel, and ERP systems to save time and improve accuracy.

Samsara

Samsara’s Route Planning tool helps fleets generate smarter, more optimized routes. Now, fleets can integrate their sales and orders systems into Samsara’s Route Planning feature to pinpoint the most efficient routes and delivery schedules. The tool uses real-time intelligence to consider operational constraints, including vehicle limitations, driver compliance requirements, customer delivery windows, and dynamic traffic. According to the manufacturer, this capability ensures on-time delivery and avoids unnecessary fuel usage. By automating route optimization, fleets can reduce manual back-office routing time, turning planning that once took hours into mere minutes.

Solera

Solera says its Sylectus Transportation Management System unites brokers, carriers, and drivers on one connected platform—combining a powerful load board with a complete transportation management system. Fleets can post, bid, and award loads through the Sylectus network, then manage dispatch, customer updates, load rating, invoicing, and driver payroll within the same interface.

With seamless integrations to telematics providers, ELDs, and accounting platforms like QuickBooks, Sylectus delivers end-to-end visibility and automation without costly IT overhead. Its intuitive driver mobile app enables real-time load tracking, document imaging, and digital settlements, while automated notifications keep customers informed every step of the way.
