Dragonfly Energy battery system cuts truck idling during sleeper cab rest periods

Dragonfly Energy’s Battle Born DualFlow Power Pack is a LiFePO4 energy system designed to power sleeper cab amenities during mandated driver rest periods without relying on engine idling or auto-start/stop systems. Installed under the bunk, the system integrates with the truck’s electrical system and recharges using alternator power while the engine is running.

The system provides reliable overnight power for in-cab comforts such as refrigerators, lighting, CPAP machines, communication devices, and entertainment systems. This allows drivers to maintain comfort throughout rest periods without the disruption of engines cycling on and off during the night.

Designed for quick installation, the DualFlow Power Pack can be added to new or existing trucks and installed under the sleeper bunk with minimal integration work. By powering hotel loads separately, it also helps protect starter batteries while improving driver comfort during overnight stops.
