Isuzu N-Series trucks feature updated steering, display, and cab ergonomics for drivers

Driver-focused updates in Isuzu N-Series include ergonomic improvements, digital displays, and safety-oriented cab design changes.

Isuzu Commercial Truck has optimized its N-Series cabs to prioritize driver comfort, productivity, convenience, and safety.

The steering wheel’s position and angle have been changed compared to prior Isuzu cabs to provide a better fit for a wider range of drivers. Its smaller diameter means easier handling. And now, steering-wheel-mounted controls operate the Multi-Information Display (MID).

The new seven-inch color MID houses an assortment of gauges and functions, including warning lights, driver-assistance status, time and temperature, odometer, shift position, and more. This MID is designed to minimize eye movements, thereby maximizing driver comfort and safety. And it’s not just multi-information—it’s multi-lingual, fluent in English, French, and Spanish.

Climate controls adopt a new electronic control that makes operation easy and intuitive. And when the outside climate turns wet, drivers will appreciate the new variable intermittent windshield wipers.
