Three transportation industry executives have formed a new merger and acquisition company. Gailyn Larsen, Lana Batts, and W Miller Welborn announced that their company — Larsen, Batts, Welborn & Co — will focus primarily on the truckload segment. The three principals have more than 80 years of combined experience in the truckload industry.

Larsen has more than 30 years of experience in the transportation industry as a lawyer as well as a trucking company owner of both Jay Lines in Dallas TX and Goodway Transport of York PA. Most recently he has been president and founder of Larsen & Co, a transportation consulting firm engaged in merger and acquisition counseling.

Batts has almost 30 years' experience in the trucking industry, representing the trucking industry in Washington DC both as a senior vice-president for the American Trucking Associations and president of the Truckload Carriers Association. Most recently, she has been the principal in Batts and Associates, a transportation consulting firm that specializes in bringing new technology products to the trucking industry.

Welborn has more than 20 years' experience in the transportation industry. He served as the president of Welborn Transport and Boyd Bros Transportation. Most recently he has been the president of Welborn and Associates, a transportation consulting firm which specializes in truckload operations and mergers and acquisitions.

The new company will be headquartered in York, but will have regional offices in Arlington VA and Chattanooga TN.
