TMW Systems Inc announces the release of version 6.1 of its TL2000 product for the IBM AS/400. The release incorporates a new set of tools and associated system support capabilities called ILE (Integrated Language Environment) that enhance program development on the AS/400. Features that allow this streamlined programming include use of reusable components that blend with elements written in other languages, a selection of ready-made elements programmers can place directly into applications, faster compile time, and an advanced source debugging program.
New features in the latest release include faster dispatch routines, expanded integration to mobile communications and fuel card services, easier and faster order entry routines, and the ability for clients to aid their own customized hotkeys to eliminate extra keystrokes.
