Thieman Tailgates, manufacturer of hydraulic liftgates, is in the midst of an expansion that will add 30,000 square feet to its business in Celina OH. The expansion is to be completed by the end of summer 2005.

“The existing weld shop will be moved to the new area, which will allow us to expand our weld shop and at the same time increase our assembly area,” said Todd Thieman, vice-president. The expansion will increase the plant size by 25% to a total of 120,000 square feet. This is Thieman's second expansion since 1998, when a 20,000-sq-ft assembly area was added.
