Maines Paper and Foodservice has deployed Retalix Power Warehouse to improve inventory management and productivity at its 10 distribution centers. The second-largest independent systems foodservice distributor in the United States, Maines distribution centers service more than 4,000 foodservice establishments in 35 states.

A warehouse management software for route-based, multi-stop food distribution operations, Retalix Power Warehouse let Conklin NY-based Maines go from using four warehouse management systems to operating one version for 10 distribution centers. The software's bar-code scanning and radio frequency capabilities helped Maines enhance inventory control, cycle counting, put-away and let-down processes, and order selection at all its distribution centers.
