Phillips adds shut-off gladhands to line

Phillips Industries has introduced to its product line additional shut-off gladhands for double trailers. Added are two zinc die-cast surface-mount shut-off gladhands and two new bulkhead-mount ones made with composite material for increased protection against magnesium chloride, road salt, and chemicals.

Phillips Industries has introduced to its product line additional shut-off gladhands for double trailers. Added are two zinc die-cast surface-mount shut-off gladhands and two new bulkhead-mount ones made with composite material for increased protection against magnesium chloride, road salt, and chemicals.

These shut-off gladhands are designed to keep debris out of the air system with integrated shut-off valves or arms. They now also include dust flap seals and filter screens for added protection. Each of the new gladhands are color-coded—blue for service and red for emergency—for easy identification.
