Teklogix Line Can Handle Low Temperatures

Psion Teklogix has enhanced its Teklogix 7035 hand-held computer product line to incorporate low-temperature functionality. Using wireless technology, the lightweight 7035 combines real-time connectivity and ease of use. Suitable for warehousing, distribution, and intermodal operations, the 7035 is now designed for outdoor, low-temperature, and freezer environments ranging from -20° to 50° C (-4° to 122° F).

Enhancements to the 7035 include: casing that allows for a multiple 5-foot drop rating; new battery and power management technology, which provides a 40% increase in battery life; and a heated display, which ensures continuity of display performance. Offered in 36-, 44-, and 56-key configurations, the 7035 can be ordered with integrated scanners and radio options including 802.11b.
