DSC helps Simplot manage its supply chain

DSC Logistics is providing supply chain systems for J R Simplot Co, a privately held food and agribusiness corporation. One of the world's largest frozen-potato processors, Simplot annually turns out 3 billion pounds of french fries and other potato products worldwide.

Under terms of the agreement, DSC is managing full warehousing and transportation services out of its Joliet, McDonough, Roanoke, and Allentown Logistics Centers supporting Simplot's foodservice network. This includes providing Simplot with a multi-vendor consolidation program, full transportation management services, and supplying dual-customized lot control and quality processes.
