KABA MAS, a worldwide manufacturer of high-security locking solutions, entered the transportation market with the introduction of the Gitcon G50 mechanical cargo lock. The device was unveiled at the Mid-America Trucking Show in Louisville, Kentucky, March 25-27 2004.
Constructed from 316 stainless steel, the Gitcon G50 is designed to provide dependable, secure locking on trailer and truck body doors and cabinets. The G50 will be available with a choice of the most common handle types and can be used with many high security cam lock cylinders for added protection against forced entry. It can also be used in conjunction with tamper indicating seals for additional monitoring capabilities.
“We are adding the transportation arena to our list of market sectors because the trailer and container security is a perfect fit for our company,” said Carl Sideranko, Kaba Mas general manager. “We have drawn from our banking, retail and government security knowledge to provide the transportation industry with locking solutions that will help ensure the safe and theft-free delivery of cargo.”
