Parker Hannifin Corp's Hose Products Division introduces SS23CG hose designed specifically for use with liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and compressed natural gas (CNG).

The SS23CG offers superior gas permeation resistance. It exceeds Canadian Gas Association specification CAN/CGA-8.1-M86 Type III, meeting permeation specifications of less than 1.6g/square meters per day.

A synthetic outer cover resists abrasion while a stainless steel braided layer prevents corrosion. A nylon inner tube resists LPG, CNG, and oil. The hose contains no substances that may contaminate LPG/CNG systems. This hose offers a 350-psi constant working pressure and will operate within a temperature range of -40° C to +121° C (-40° F to +250° F).

The hose uses Parker 26 Series crimp fittings, which come in more than 40 end configurations. Assemblies made with SS23CG hose are only available factory-made. For a copy of Bulletin 4480-B66-USA, which features the SS23CG hose, contact Parker Catalog Services, 8940 Tyler Blvd, Mentor OH 44060.
