C.R. England Inc. announced the acquisition of 102,000 square feet of office space in a newly developed business park in Salt Lake City UT.

The site will be home to England Logistics, a wholly owned subsidiary of C.R. England and one of the largest freight brokerage and third-party party logistics companies in the nation. Bonneville Realty Management was awarded the contract to manage the property.

Dan England, chairman of C.R. England, said, “Our ability to capitalize upon current market conditions via real estate expansion emphasizes the confidence we have in the local and national economy.”

“We're in an extremely fragile economy with escalating concerns about employment, productivity, and profitability,” said Sean Snow, president of England Logistics. “Moving into a larger facility and hiring additional employees will allow us to keep pace with growing competition and global demand.”

Founded in 1920, C.R. England has grown to become a leading refrigerated trucking company nationwide. Besides the truckload services provided by its 3,700 trucks and 5,600 refrigerated trailers, England Logistics has become one of the top 50 logistics companies and top 15 brokerages in the United States.
