More than 4,400 trucking companies offering common and dedicated contract services, plus 1,000 trucking firms hauling exclusively under contract are available in the new TTS Carrier Routing Directory (CRD). The edition is on CD-ROM and offers self-contained software, plus an Adobe e-book

The CRD profile includes trucking company, key contacts, titles, address, toll-free and fax number, plus common and/or contract haul preference. Commodities transported; TL /LTL; number of trucks, tractors, and trailers; and trailers by type, including chassis/containers, are shown. Carrier websites are noted.

More than 1,800 fleets offer shipment tracking capability. Carriers actively serving 48 states, specific states, or provinces are included. Some 3,800 truckers serve the entire United States, 750 in Canada, plus 325 offer service to Mexico.

The CRD reflects 3,450 trucking companies operating van trailers, 1,800 flatbeds, 1,100 refrigerated, 700 tanks, 650 open tops, and 275 chassis. Indexes identify firms by states served and equipment operated.

The directory is offered by Transportation Technical Services, Fredericksburg VA, for $395 (US funds), plus $12 shipping and handling.
