IFCO Systems has opened three new pallet services facilities in Westborough MA, Tooele UT, and Bakersfield CA. These centers, serving the Boston, Salt Lake City, and central California markets, respectively, bring the total number of IFCO’s pallet and container service centers to 53.

All facilities are situated with ample production and storage capacity for just-in-time inventory services. These centers will service new clients as well as current customers including McLane Foodservice, Tyson, and Kmart. The operations will bring at least 25 new jobs to each area in the first year.

With more than 150 locations worldwide, IFCO operates a pool of more than 75 million RPCs (reusable plastic containers) globally, which are used to transport fresh produce from producers to grocery retailers. In the United States, IFCO also provides a national network of pallet management services.
