Version 4.3 has been released by collectiveData Inc for both its collectiveFleet and collectiveShop CMMS software products. The version's desktop design allows users to create a mechanics' desktop, a manager's desktop, or any number of desktops populated with one-click links to functions they need on a day-to-day basis. While each desktop is unique, they do not conflict with each other. Security features control access to the various desktops. Other functions are easily accessible from the tool bar and menu at the top of the program.
The other major upgrade associated with this release is availability of both collectiveFleet and collectiveShop in Windows MySQL and Mac OS X My SQL ready versions. Other enhancements include e-mail notification, improved reporting abilities, a GPS module, a motor pool module, and FAST reports.
