For the first time, the International Association of Food Industry Suppliers (IAFIS) will hold a milk safety seminar in Mexico. IAFIS is partnering with the United States Food and Drug Administration for the seminar, which will be held Oct 30-Nov 1 at the US Trade Center in Mexico City, Mexico.
The three-day course will feature sessions on: HACCP, the US and Mexican regulatory environment, good manufacturing practices, the 3-A Standards program, sanitary design of processing equipment, milk pasteurization, clean-in-place systems, filling and packaging of milk products, and plant sanitation practices. While the course focuses primarily on the dairy sector, it is open to all areas of the food processing industry.
