Developed in response to demand for increased security, FlexGuard is FlexBarrier Products Inc's new security screen door for loading docks. The doors are made of strong chain mesh, providing an additional level of security protection over FlexBarrier's FlexScreen product. While both FlexGuard and FlexScreen allow the passage of light and fresh air for improved employee comfort and productivity, the new FlexGuard security door virtually eliminates trespassing and helps prevent theft from the loading dock.

FlexGuard security screen doors come in slider and roll-up models, both of which use the FlexScreen insect barrier door structural approach. Like the bug screens, FlexGuard will keep out birds, bats, and large bugs while providing additional security against criminal and nuisance activity. Both slider doors and roll-up doors are designed for easy installation and offer locking systems. Both can be installed as an inside standoff model around an existing door, in a door jamb, or on the exterior of a building. FlexGuard is available in various sizes of aluminum and stainless steel mesh.

With FlexGuard slider doors, the mesh hangs on rollers and operates on a track. It can be ordered to open at the side or as a bi-part door that opens in the center. Roll-up doors get the mesh up and out of the way when open, and can be opened using a motor or a standard design chain-hoist.
