Rite-Hite Corp has revamped the Dok-Lok restraining system. In the new RHR-1000 model Dok-Lok, the original rotating-hook design has been augmented with engineered structure enhancements and advanced controls technology restraint.

A 9" low-profile carriage can capture a range of trailer rear impact guards (RIGs). This lower profile accommodates RIGs — now found on an estimated 70% of all OTR trailers — built to National Highway Traffic Safety Administration standards. The articulating nose extension allows the carriage to travel lower to avoid damage to the restraint or RIG when trailers with low beds and/or RIGs back into position at the dock.

The RHR-1000 Dok-Lok restraint also employs Universal Restraint Controller technology, which allows flexibility for interconnecting controls with other power dock equipment. The controls system features an audible alarm with a coded override, as well as self-diagnostics and troubleshooting capability.

The RHR-1000 contains fewer moving parts, and the New E-Z-Lube axle design simplifies occasional lubrication. All Dok-Lok restraints are mounted off ground. For complete details, contact Rite-Hite, 8900 N Arbon Dr, Milwaukee WI 53223.
