Cal-Maine Foods Inc, a producer and marketer of shell eggs, announced a regular quarterly cash dividend of $0.0125 (one and one-quarter cents) per share on its common stock.

Cal-Maine Foods Inc, a producer and marketer of shell eggs, announced a regular quarterly cash dividend of $0.0125 (one and one-quarter cents) per share on its common stock. The dividend is payable June 1, 2004, to shareholders of record May 20, 2004. The current annualized dividend rate of $0.05 represents a doubling of the cash payout in light of the two-for-one stock split effective in April.

In fiscal 2003, Cal-Maine sold 571 million dozen eggs, representing about 13% of United States shell egg consumption.
