A complete listing of public refrigerated warehouses available to the food industry are detailed in the 2003 edition of the International Directory of Refrigerated Warehouses & Distribution Centers and Blue Pages.

Published by the International Association of Refrigerated Warehouses (IARW) and the World Food Logistics Organization (WFLO), this edition details billions of cubic feet of refrigerated warehouse space worldwide.

Directory listings appear geographically by country, state, province, and city and include data on warehouse capacity, temperature range, key personnel, truck and rail docks, financial references, and specialized services.

Another feature, the Buyer's Guide of Products and Services for the Global Cold Chain, (also known as the Blue Pages) contains a complete listing of suppliers to the refrigerated warehouse and food distribution industry. These companies are members of the IARW Cold Chain Products and Services Council, and all are indexed according to the types of services and equipment they offer.

The 2003 directory is available from IARW, 1500 King St, Suite 201, Alexandria VA 22314. The e-mail address is [email protected]; the web site is www.iarw.org. The first copy of the directory is free to companies in the perishable-food business using public refrigerated warehouse space; additional copies are US $18. Others may purchase the directory for US $150. The directory is also offered online at www.iarw.org.
