Gallop supplies a range of truckload and LTL services meeting various temperature-controlled shipping needs for food producers, distributors, and retailers. The company’s business is split between United States domestic and US-Canadian cross-border service.

Lorne Swartz founded Gallop in 1993. Under Swartz’s leadership, it has grown to carry more than 15,000 loads, generate more than $82 million in annual revenue, and become a leading provider of mission-critical transportation systems to the produce and food industries.

Gallop’s operations will be integrated into Greatwide’s Truckload Brokerage business unit.
