Kennedy Transportation Inc, a privately held, asset-based dry and refrigerated truckload carrier based in Romeoville IL (a Chicago suburb), is the recipient of the Globe and Spear Award. This is the highest honor bestowed on employees and vendors of the William Wrigley Jr Co.

The world's largest chewing gum and confection manufacturer, headquartered in Chicago, presented the award to Frank Galman, executive vice-president of Kennedy, at a recent ceremony recognizing the firm for excellence in performance as a truckload carrier.

This was the second year in a row that Kennedy was presented with the award. The company serves refrigerated food manufacturers and dry freight shippers nationwide.
