• Intermec selects RFID Authorized Partner

    Intermec Technologies Corp today named Global Food Group (GFG) to its Intermec RFID (radio frequency identification) Authorized Partner program.

    Intermec Technologies Corp today named Global Food Group (GFG) to its Intermec RFID (radio frequency identification) Authorized Partner program. GFG provides software products and support services to organizations that distribute perishable food products directly to stores.

    RFID Authorized Partners complete a qualification and training process that authorizes them to resell Intermec RFID products and services and to specify Intermec RFID systems.

    “Distributors and wholesalers are constantly looking for ways to cut warehouse and delivery logistics time,” said Rod Crane, Intermec vice-president . “The GFG/Intermec relationship will bring RFID to the warehouse, from pallet management through to store shelves, cutting data entry time and increasing accuracy in inventory tracking.”
