TransAm goes with GeoLogic systems

Refrigerated carrier TransAm Trucking has purchased 350 new MobileMax units and enhanced all its systems with GeoLogic's new Cingular Wireless GPRS data service. Based in Olathe KS, TransAm has a fleet of about 1,200 tractors.

GeoLogic made Cingular's nationwide digital wireless network optional in 2005. This network provides expanded cellular coverage and greater data capabilities, including remote software downloads from vehicle systems.
